Digital migration

A cutover is a window on a document family, not an intention.

Process migration in Pixel3S is a method: discover the current path, map it to the 3S, migrate one document family, stabilize, then take the next family.

Stop eighteen-month programs that map a future state nobody will run. Move real documents, in production, on a date.

At the document

Runs two paths for a named window: the inbox path is still valid, the new path is preferred, and the fallback is written down.

At the gate

Owns the window. Watches the queues, the first pass of the new path, and the date the inbox path is retired.

Inputs

  • Document-family scope
  • Systems of record
  • Entity sequence
  • Fallback rules

Outputs

  • Map of the current path
  • Cutover plan with windows
  • Evidence from the two paths
  • Retirement of the inbox path

Place in the 3S. All three S’s, in order, for one document family at a time. Migration is how Pixel3S arrives. It is not a separate product.
